A bar where Japanese discipline meets our city’s energy, one sip at the time.

BOOKINGS

Mugi was born from the friendship of Lorenzo and Ibrahim, two friends living in London, brought together by a shared love for Japan and a passion for hospitality.

Inspired by the simplicity, warmth and spirit of Japanese drinking culture, Mugi brings together a love for good food, good drinks and good company.

The name Mugi — meaning “barley” in Japanese — is a nod to one of Japan’s most fascinating ingredients and to the simple, everyday rituals that make a bar feel like home.

At Mugi, we keep things uncomplicated: good food, cold drinks, great music and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay for one more.
